This lecture provides an overview of the critical role behavior has in oncology and discusses how to assess and manage psychiatric symptoms with a focus on suicide in cancer patients. Learning Outcomes: • Identify common challenges faced by psychiatric patients who are treated for cancer. • Describe important drug-interactions with psychotropic medications. • Employ sensitivity to previously traumatized patients.
