Advances in Melanoma Cancer Treatment - F. Collichio - 20171115

This presentation reviews melanoma from diagnosis through treatment using a case study approach. The speaker reviews AJCC staging guidelines, basic biologic principles, various treatment options, and side effects of treatment. The content includes what’s new for melanoma management and thoughts on future research directions. Learning Outcomes: • Review the ABCDEs for melanoma. • Know the standard of care for each stage of disease including the new treatments for stage III. • Know how to recognize the side effects of therapy.
