This lecture talks about caring for cancer patients who use tobacco and the rationale behind it. Also, learn specific methods and behavioral strategies to help your patient stop smoking. Learning Outcomes: 1. Learn about the current evidence-based standards for tobacco use cessation in cancer settings 2. Understand specific pharmacotherapy and behavioral counseling strategies in tobacco cessation 3. Discuss potential new approaches, including e-cigarettes, in tobacco cessation and review system changes to aid cessation efforts in cancer settings This lecture was presented as a part of the RN and Allied Health Services.
