This lecture reviews emergency conditions seen in oncology and hematology patients and discusses the signs, symptoms and tests available for monitoring each of the emergency conditions.

• Describe the types of emergencies seen in oncology and hematology.

• Discuss the types of monitoring and objectives of monitoring.
