This lecture will discuss the topic of suicide within the cancer patient population and how while its often difficult to predict, clinicians can assess risk and screen for suicidal ideation and respond accordingly. Learning Outcomes: * Overview of risk and protective factors * Recognize that the patient at-risk for suicide is relevant to all clinicians. * Learn the different components that go into screening for Suicide This lecture was presented as a part of the Medical and Surgical Oncology Lecture Series.
