Channel - Cancer Survivorship Research Retreat
The UNC Cancer Survivorship Research Retreat will bring together researchers and clinicians from across the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, UNC, and beyond to foster collaboration to expand cancer survivorship research. We hope that this will be the first of many opportunities to share our diverse expertise with the goal of using research to enhance the survivorship experience for all people impacted by cancer. This half day virtual retreat will focus on health equity in cancer survivorship and long-term health effects of cancer and its treatment and feature speakers with ongoing NIH-funded research in these subject areas.

Women’s Study Population-based cancer registries are valuable resources for recruiting young adult cancer survivors into studies that collect information not available in medical records. But, who agrees to participate in these studies, and do they differ from those who are eligible to participate? Are potential participants lost because of incorrect contact information, refusal, or other reasons?
